Sunday Telegraph 11th October 2020

The Government has unveiled (by announcing it in the Sunday Telegraph obviously) its latest plans to prevent statues of racists and imperialists in public places being taken down and placed, more appropriately, in museums.

The plan will see Housing Minister Robert Jenrik put in charge of vetoing any plan to take down a statue that the Tories want kept up.

Given Mr Jenrik’s record we can surely expect a statue of himself to be erected in the centre of his Newark Constituency to mark this important new role.
