Neil Faulkner: was Lenin a Leninist?

Neil Faulkner develops the approach in his recent book on the Russian Revolution and asks if Lenin would have been better to avoid Leninism, just as Marx proclaimed he was not a Marxist.

This is the first in an occasional series of seminars organised by the London Socialist Historians Group to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1917 Russian Revolution and to engage with it in a critical but positive framework.
