Haringey TUC has said that it is asking all trade unionists in the Borough to sign the petition for a living wage at the Crouch End Picturehouse.

Workers at the cinema, members of BECTU, have taken action in pursuit of their claim for £9.75 an hour.

The Ham & High Broadway have also published a story giving some background to the dispute:

Haringey TUC Secretary Keith Flett said, the dispute at Crouch End Picturehouse is a very important one for all workers in Haringey. We are asking all trade unionists to sign the position and we are hoping that Council leader Claire Kober will write in support of them as well. The fight for a living wage is a real issue in Haringey.
