Exclusive: Rupert Murdoch met Titchener in Borchester hotel room
The Ambridge Socialist understands that before he left for America, Titchener had a meeting with Rupert Murdoch in a Borchester hotel room. According to our source Murdoch expressed sympathy for the plight of Titchener noting that he felt he had been misreported by the BBC deliberately in its quest for political correctness. It is not known if Murdoch, a close friend of self-styled President Trump, offered Titchener a job in the US.
He’s Gone: After Titchener
Its official Titchener has gone. After hard sleuthing work PC Burns has relayed to Helen that Titchener and his passport were detected at Heathrow en route to the US. Apparently Titchener remains a person of ‘interest’ to the Constabulary although Borsetshire Police’s interests don’t usually focus much on apprehending criminals.
The problem now is exactly what is Ambridge going to do after the person that has caused so much village angst over the past few years is out of the picture?
Vets and horses and Jill becoming erratic just won’t work. The Archers was once known as the place where nothing happened. It wasn’t true but life did go on much the same mostly. In the age of Trump that may not be an option.
Who we fill Titchener’s job?
Who will fill Titchener’s farm manager job? Will Charlie Thomas make a come-back. The Ambridge Socialist asked if newly re-launched country gent UKIP leader could do it but over 80% think its above his pay grade.
