The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has said that Michael Gove’s decision to exit the use of his razor, a process known as REXIT, is no surprise following his campaign for Britain to leave the EU.

Gove has been seen in Westminster on 16th August with a beard

Gove missed out on the chance to become Tory leader and faces an uncertain political future on the backbenches.

A beard can begin the process of political re-assessment not just over policies but image as well as Al Gore found when he lost the chance to become US President and instead grew his beard.

However the campaigners have discounted suggestions that Gove has grown a Corbyn tribute beard.

BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, of course Mr Gove is a controversial figure and there will be some who think his decision to REXIT is the wrong one. However if he has genuinely come to understand why a policy of ‘no cuts’ is a good thing there may be a way forward for him yet.
