CAMPAIGNERS SAY STEPHEN CRABB COULD BE FIRST HIRSUTE PRIME MINISTER SINCE 1902

The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has said that it would back Tory Cabinet Minister Stephen Crabb should he decide to run for the leadership of the Party.

Crabb could be the first hirsute Prime Minister since another Tory Lord Salisbury stepped down in 1902.

BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, the assumption was that if there was to be a PM with a beard it might be Jeremy Corbyn. However Stephen Crabb has the opportunity to put a beard in 10 Downing St for the first time in over 100 years. We hope he takes it.
