5th June

The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has paid tribute to Muhammad Ali, who died on 4th June.

The great boxer was clean shaven for most of his life but he did have brief periods when he sported a characteristically very stylish moustache.

BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, Muhammad Ali is unlikely to be remembered for his facial hair but when he did wear a moustache it was an iconic moment.
